1. HOW TO ENTER: Seventeen Magazine’s
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 Fandango Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”).
Go to http://www.seventeen.com/mockingjaytix (the “Website”) starting
September 29, 2015 at 12:01 AM. ET, and ending October 27, 2015 at 11:59 PM ET
(the “Sweepstakes Period”), on a computer or wireless device and complete and
submit the entry form. Important Notice: You may be charged for visiting the
mobile website in accordance with the terms of your service agreement with your
carrier. Please consult your wireless service provider regarding your pricing
plan. You must use a Smartphone device to participate via your mobile phone.
Not all mobile phone providers carry the necessary service to participate.
Check your phone capabilities for specific Internet instructions. If your data
usage exceeds what is allotted by your data plan, you could be subject to
additional fees by your carrier. Please contact your mobile service provider
with any questions regarding your bill.
2. ELIGIBILITY:
Sweepstakes open only to legal residents, between the ages of 13 and 29, of
the 48 contiguous states or the District of Columbia at the time of entry. Void
in Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii and where prohibited by law. Employees of Hearst
Communications, Inc. (“Sponsor”), Lions Gate Films Inc. (“Lionsgate”), Fandango
Media, LLC (“Fandango”), its respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries,
participating advertising and promotion agencies, and prize suppliers (collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”) (and
members of their immediate family and/or those living in the same of household
of each such employees whether legally related or not) are not eligible.
3. ENTRIES:
Limit one (1) entry per person and per e-mail address per day. Multiple entries from the same person on the
same day will be disqualified. Entries
become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Proof of submission does not constitute proof
of receipt. Inaccurate, lost, late,
misdirected or incomplete or entry forms that have been tampered with will be
disqualified. Entrants must have valid
email address and it is entrant’s responsibility to update Sponsor of any
change in email address. If there is a
dispute as to the identity of an online entrant, the prize will be awarded to
the authorized account holder of the email address. The “authorized account holder” is defined as
the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by an internet service
provider, online service provider, carrier, or other organization (e.g.,
business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning the
email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email
address.
Winners/Prizes
and Approximate Retail Value: One
(1) Grand Prize Winner will win a trip for two (2) people to the Los
Angeles, California movie premiere screening of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 (the “Film”) currently
scheduled for November 16, 2015 (the “Grand Prize”). The Grand Prize includes:
(i) round-trip coach air transportation for two (2) people from major airport
nearest winner’s residence to Los Angeles International Airport (ARV: $750 per
person, which may vary depending on the location of the Winner’s residence);
(ii) three (3)-night hotel accommodations at Sponsor’s sole discretion (one
room, standard accommodations, double occupancy)(ARV: $1,050); (iii) a $1,000
check (which may be used on ground transportation, meals, or at Winner’s
discretion); and (iv) two (2) passes to the premiere screening of the Film, currently
scheduled for November 16, 2015 in Los Angeles, California. Each pass admits
two (2) people (Grand Prize Winner and guest).
Guest attending the screening must be 18 years or older and if the
Winner is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must accompany the Grand Prize Winner. Passes will be available at the theater at
“Will Call”. Please Note: Address of
premiere screening theater will be provided by the Sponsor a reasonable time
prior to the premiere screening. Sponsor
suggests for Grand Prize Winner and guest to arrive at the theater for premiere
screening at least one (1) hour before the premiere starts. No admittance without a ticket or after the
premiere screening has begun. The Grand Prize Winner is strictly prohibited
from selling, auctioning, trading or otherwise transferring the premiere
screening tickets unless Sponsor consents in writing. Transportation to and from the screening is
not provided. Winner also acknowledges that Lionsgate will be hiring
anti-piracy security and that each guest must follow security protocol. If, for whatever reason, the premiere
screening of the Film is cancelled or rescheduled after the tickets are
ticketed, no compensation will be paid in lieu of any cancelled or rescheduled
showing of the Film. No responsibility
is assumed by Sponsor or Lionsgate if the premiere screening is cancelled,
rescheduled, delayed or postponed, in whole or in part. Unused tickets cannot be refunded or
exchanged. The Grand Prize Winner and
his or her travel companion must travel together on the same itinerary and must
possess all required travel documents, including visas and valid passports, if
and as applicable, and comply with any applicable hotel check-in requirements,
such as presentation of a major credit card.
Trip must be taken on dates as indicated by Sponsor, to correspond with
date of the Film premiere. The dates of departure and return are subject to
change at Sponsor’s sole discretion. In
the event the Grand Prize Winner (or parent or guardian if the Grand Prize Winner
is a minor) is unable to attend the Film premiere screening, then the Grand
Prize Winner will forfeit the prize and an alternative Grand Prize Winner may
be selected. In the event the winner
lives within 200 miles from destination, alternative transportation will
be provided and no additional compensation will be provided. All travelers must
possess valid travel documents. The travel companion of Grand Prize Winner must
execute a Publicity/Liability Release prior to departure and must be 18 years
or older at time of departure. Airfare
may not include government taxes, Passenger Facility Charge or September 11th
Security Fee. Airline tickets are
non-refundable/non-transferable and are not valid for upgrades and/or frequent
flyer miles. Other travel restrictions
and blackout dates may apply. All
airline tickets are subject to the vagaries of flight variation, work
stoppages, and schedule or route changes.
The ARV for travel prizes may vary depending upon points of departure
and destination and fare fluctuations.
Sponsor reserves the right to structure travel routes and select hotels
in its sole discretion. The ARV for
travel prizes is an estimate made before the Sweepstakes begins. The winner will not receive cash or any other
form of compensation if actual travel costs are less than the estimate made in
these Official Rules. The round trip air
transportation element for any travel prize begins and ends at the point of
departure. No interest will be awarded
on cash prizes. Other hotel fees are not
included and if applicable may be payable at the time of check-out by the
winner/guest. A deposit or payment in
advance, or presentation of a credit card by the winner, may be required at the
time of check-in at the hotel. Any hotel
cancellations or changes to hotel reservations after confirmation must be made
with the hotel directly, and the winner is solely responsible for any charges
and/or fees arising from changes made directly with the hotel. Once the travel schedule has been arranged,
it cannot be altered and failure of Grand Prize Winner to follow such schedule
shall not obligate Sponsor in any way to provide Grand Prize Winner with
alternate arrangements. Grand Prize Winner will be solely responsible for all
other costs and expenses not specified herein. If a Grand Prize Winner doesn’t
respond to winner notification within one (1) business day, the Grand Prize
will be forfeited and alternative winner may be selected.
The Film is
scheduled for theatrical release on November 20, 2015. The premiere screening, if any, is
anticipated to occur on November 16, 2015, but the specific date is subject to
change. Nothing set forth herein shall
be construed to require Sponsor to hold a premiere of the Film at any
particular time, or at all. Once the Grand
Prize Winner’s guest is designated, he/she may not be substituted, except at
the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Film
has a Motion Picture Association of America rating of PG-13. In the event a Grand
Prize Winner (and/or his or her companion(s) (if applicable)) engage in
behavior that (as determined by Sponsor or any Sweepstakes Entity in its or
their sole and absolute discretion) is obnoxious, inappropriate, or
threatening, illegal or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any
other person, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the trip or other
applicable experience early, in whole or in part, and send the Grand Prize
winner and/or his or her travel companion home with no further compensation. Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of Grand
Prize: $3,550.
Thirty
(30) Runner-up Winners will receive a Fandango
Promotional Code valid to redeem one (1) pair of movie tickets (up to $40 total
value) to see the Film at Fandango
partner theaters in the U.S. opening on November 20, 2015. ARV of each
Runner-up prize: $40.00. ARV of all Runner-up prizes: $1,200.
Fandango Terms
and Conditions: Each Runner-up Winner
will receive a Fandango Promotional Code via e-mail valid for one (1) pair of movie tickets (up to $40 ARV) to see the Film
at Fandango partner theaters in the U.S., at any showing including those
designated as “no coupons, no passes” in local theater listing guides.
Fandango Promotional Code must be redeemed by 12/31/2015, or sooner if the Film
is no longer in theaters, and is void if not redeemed by the expiration date.
Both tickets must be purchased together in the same transaction for the same
movie and showtime. Only valid for purchases made at www.fandango.com or via the
Fandango mobile app for Fandango partner theaters in the U.S. and cannot be
redeemed directly at any Fandango partner theater box office. If
lost, cannot be replaced. No reproductions will be accepted. No cash value. Not
valid with any other offer. Offer valid in the 48 contiguous states and the
District of Columbia and for one-time use only. Void in Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii and where
prohibited by law. Not for resale; void if sold or exchanged. If
movie tickets with Fandango’s convenience fee included are more than maximum
value of the Fandango Promotional Code, then user must pay the
difference. Any price difference between movie ticket(s) purchased and
maximum value of the Fandango Promotional Code will not be refunded. Neither

Total ARV for all
prizes awarded: $4,750. The ARVs
represents Sponsor’s good faith determination of the actual fair market value
and, as ultimately determined by Sponsor, is final and binding and cannot be
challenged or appealed. In the event
that a stated ARV is more than the actual fair market value, the difference will
not be awarded in cash or otherwise. The
prizes are non-transferable and no substitution or cash equivalents will be
made except as provided herein at the Sponsors’ sole discretion. The prize(s) may not be sold, bartered, or
exchanged by the winner. The prize(s)
may not be published, copied or replicated in any way by the winner or any
other party. Sponsor reserves the right
to substitute a prize (or a component thereof) for one of equal or greater
value, if any prize should become unavailable for any reason. In the event that any prize is unavailable,
Sponsor may elect to provide the winner with the approximate value of such
prize in cash or award an alternate prize of comparable or greater value. The restrictions/conditions stated
herein are not all-inclusive and the prizes described above may be subject to
additional restrictions/conditions, which may be stated in the Prize Claim
Documents (as defined below) and/or other travel documents.
WINNER
SELECTION: Winners (individually
and collectively, the “Winner”) will be selected on or about October 28, 2015
in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. In the event the Sponsor does not receive any
eligible entries, the Sponsor has the right to cancel the Sweepstakes. Drawing will be conducted by Seventeen Magazine,
whose decisions are final. Odds of
winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. WINNER
NOTIFICATION: Grand Prize Winner
will be notified via phone or e-mail at Sponsor’s discretion on or about October
28, 2015. In the event the Grand Prize Winner
doesn’t respond to Sponsor’s notification or does not accept the prize within
one (1) business day of notification, the Grand Prize will be deemed forfeited
and an alternate Winner may be selected. In the event that any one (1) or more
potential Grand Prize Winner(s) fails to respond as stated above, declines the
prize, such Grand Prize Winner(s) will be deemed to forfeit the prize and
Sponsor may select an alternate Winner(s) from the remaining eligible entrants.
If any alternate(s) similarly fails to respond or declines the prize, Sponsor
will use a reasonable number of attempts, in its discretion, to award the Grand
Prize to another alternate(s) but if it is unable to do so, the Grand Prize
will be finally forfeited and Sponsor shall have no further liability in
connection with this Sweepstakes. If you are declared a Runner-up Winner, Sponsor will send an email on or about November
3, 2015, to include a Fandango promotional code to redeem the Runner-up Prize.
If a Runner-up Winner is not available to redeem the Runner-up Prize, no
alternate prize will be awarded. LIST OF WINNERS: For the names of the winners, send a separate
self-addressed, stamped envelope to Seventeen Magazine, Floor 35, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 Winners’
List, Hearst Communications, Inc.,
300 West 57th Street NY, NY 10019 within two (2) months from the end
of the Sweepstakes. A copy of these Official Rules will be posted on the
Website during the Promotion Period.
Lionsgate
and its parent, affiliates, and subsidiaries are not responsible for the
administration of the Sweepstakes, the collection, submission or processing of
entries, the selection of the winners or execution of this Sweepstakes. You understand that you are providing your
information to Sponsor and not to Lionsgate. Fandango and its parents,
affiliates, and subsidiaries are not a sponsor or co-sponsor of this promotion
and are not responsible for the promotion, administration or execution of this
Sweepstakes
