2. Sweepstakes open to legal female residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, ages 13-24 as of February 20, 2008. Employees of Hearst Communications, Inc. ("Sponsor"), its licensors and prize suppliers, participating vendors, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies (collectively, the "Sweepstakes Entities"), and their family/household members (i.e., parents, children, spouse, siblings) are not eligible to enter.

3. Enter online at seventeen.com/promnight or by providing your full name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number (with area code) and date of birth on a 3.5 x 5 card mailed to "Seventeen Prom Night" Sweepstakes, c/o Seventeen, attn: Merch Dept., 300 West 57th Street, 18th Floor, New York, NY 10019. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. EST on March 20, 2008, with mail-in entries post-marked by March 20, 2008 and received by March 27, 2008. Multiple entries are not permitted. One entry per person regardless of method of entry.

4. Grand Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation for winner and one guest (must be parent or guardian if winner is not age of majority) from major airport nearest winner's home residence to Los Angeles and hotel accommodations for one room, double occupancy for two nights, and tickets for two to attend the premiere of PROM NIGHT. Air transportation and hotel accommodations at Sponsor's discretion, accommodations subject to availability and blackout dates may apply. All travelers must possess valid travel documents. Winner must travel on the days around when the premiere takes place, as specified by Sponsor. Once scheduled, the itinerary cannot be altered. Total estimated price of the travel portion of the Grand Prize is $5,000. No substitution or replacement if any portion of the prize is unavailable to the winner for any reason. The award of the Grand Prize is contingent upon acceptance by the winner of these rules. The Sponsor makes no warranties with regard to the Grand Prize. Grand Prize is not transferable. No substitutions of Grand Prize allowed by winner but, the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Grand Prize is not redeemable for cash. In the event the premiere is cancelled or postponed for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to award the remainder of the Grand Prize with no further obligation to the winner.

5. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. By participating in this sweepstakes, entrants agree to allow each of the Sweepstakes Entities to use winner's name, picture/portrait, likeness and/or voice for advertising and promotional purposes in connection with the Sweepstakes only, both in print and online without further consideration, unless prohibited by law.

6. The winner and her traveling companion will each be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and liability/(where legal) publicity release prior to awarding of the prize (to be signed by winner's parent/guardian if winner is under the age of majority in her State of residence). All taxes on prize are the responsibility of the winner.

7. All entrants (and if the entrants are minors, their parents and legal guardians) release each of the Sweepstakes Entities, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability from injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participation in this sweepstakes or acceptance or use of any prize. In the event that properly completed documents are not returned to the Sponsor within fourteen (14) days of postmark of notice, or notification of prize is undeliverable, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at the sole discretion of Sponsor.

8. None of the Sweepstakes Entities is responsible for lost, late, mutilated or misdirected mail. Entries that are illegible, incomplete or otherwise not in compliance with these official rules will be disqualified.
