THE DESIGN YOUR OWN SKINTIMATE® AD CONTEST: How to Enter: Beginning August 1, 2008, at 12:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") through September 30, 2008, at 11:59 PM ET, go to http://advertising.cosmogirl.com/skintimate and complete and submit the entry form (including uploading your design) pursuant to the onscreen instructions. Entries to be submitted online only at http://advertising.cosmogirl.com/skintimate. Submissions can be any medium capable of being digitally photographed, such as drawing, painting, photography, graphic design, and other digital artwork. Entrant's original ad must include the following mandatory elements: 1) ONE or more Skintimate® product images, 2) Skintimate® logo (can be sketch, digital, not professional), and 3) official Skintimate® tagline ("Get Skintimate With Your Legs!™). All entries must be submitted in jpg, html, gif, doc, ppt, or pdf format, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. Limit (1) one entry per person for THE DESIGN YOUR OWN SKINTIMATE® AD CONTEST ("Contest"). Use of any robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entry method or more than one entry void all entries and result in disqualification.

JUDGING/WINNER SELECTION: All entries received will be judged by a panel consisting of representatives from CosmoGirl and Skintimate® (whose decision is final), based on the following criteria: Appropriate use of Skintimate® brand assets (25%); Quality of Execution (25%); Originality (25%) and Creativity (25%). In the event of a tie, the person among the tied entrants with the highest score in Creativity will be the winner. Hearst Communications, Inc. ("Sponsor") reserves the right to not award the prize if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible entries. Potential winner will be notified via phone, e-mail, or postal mail, at Sponsor's discretion, on or about November 18, 2008.

ENTRIES: Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt. Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, misdirected, delayed, garbled, incomplete or inaccurate entries. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the prize will be awarded to the name appearing on the online entry form. By participating in the Contest, entrant (and, if an eligible minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) certifies that his/her entry is original, has not been previously published or won any award, and does not contain any material that would violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party, including copyrights, trademarks or rights or privacy or publicity. Therefore, you may not use any works, designs, brands or property that belongs to someone else. If you include friends in your submission, make sure you have their prior permissions and that they have received the permissions of their parents or legal guardians. Entrant (and, if an eligible minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) warrants that all persons appearing in the submission have agreed (or, if minors, that their parents or legal guardians have agreed) that Sponsor and S.C. Johnson (collectively, "Promotion Entities") may use the person's name, image and likeness, biographical information, and statements made as they appear in the entry, without any compensation, in any and all media, now or hereafter devised, throughout the world, in perpetuity. Entrant warrants and represents that he/she can produce such permissions in a form satisfactory to Promotion Entities, if so requested by Promotion Entities to do so. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and unfettered discretion to disqualify any entry that it determines contains obscene, offensive or inappropriate content, that does not comply with these Official Rules or that is not consistent with the spirit or theme of the Contest or Promotion Entities' image.

CONTEST DESIGN TOOL KIT MATERIAL LICENSE: S.C. Johnson grants to eligible entrants a limited license to use the materials provided in the design tool kit ("Tool Kit Materials") for the sole purpose of creating and submitting an entry for review and assessment in this Contest. Entrant receives no other rights to the Tool Kit Materials, and for the avoidance of doubt, may make no further use whatsoever of the Tool Kit Materials. In addition, entrant (and, if an eligible minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) recognizes all of S.C. Johnson's right, title, and interest in the Tool Kit Materials as well as all derivative works created using the Tool Kit Materials shall be owned exclusively by S.C. Johnson.

PRIZE: One (1) potential Contest winner will receive a "Trip to NYC" prize package and the opportunity for his/her profile and an S.C. Johnson ad created using winner's design or based on some part on winner's design to appear in a Spring/Summer 2009 issue of CosmoGirl. Trip package includes: round-trip, coach-class air transportation from major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner's residence for winner and one (1) guest, two (2) nights standard hotel accommodations for winner and guest (one (1) room, double occupancy), winner's hair and makeup makeover (exact details to be determined by Sponsor), and a $2,500 shopping spree for winner awarded as a gift card. Total approximate retail value of prize package is $4,100. Actual value may vary based on point of departure and dates of travel. Hotel accommodations and travel arrangements will be at Sponsor's discretion and through an agent of Sponsor's choice. Accommodations subject to availability and blackout dates may apply. All travelers must possess valid travel documents. Winner must travel within one year from date of prize award or prize will be forfeited and Sponsor will have no further obligation to winner. Winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary. Arrangements must be made at least 30 days prior to departure. Once scheduled, the itinerary cannot be altered. Winner's guest must be of legal age of majority in his/her state of residence (and at least 18), unless the child or legal ward of winner. If winner is an eligible minor, he/she must be accompanied on the trip by his/her parent or legal guardian as his/her guest. Guest (or, if child or legal ward of winner, winner) will be required to execute and return a liability/publicity release prior to issuance of travel documents. If requested by Promotion Entities, winner agrees to be available for interviews to develop profile. Winner agrees that the Promotion Entities will have the right to attribute the quotations and/or testimonials to him/her, which are true and verifiable and expressions of winner's personal experience and belief, which were submitted by winner to the Promotion Entities. Promotion Entities reserve the right to verify the accuracy of all information provided for the profile.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are between the ages of 13-18 years old at time of entry. An eligible minor should have a parent's or legal guardian's permission to enter. All references in these rules to entrant and/or winner shall be deemed to include entrant's and/or winner's parent or legal guardian if entrant or winner is a minor. Void in Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and where prohibited by law. Employees of Sponsor, S. C. Johnson & Son, Inc., (collectively, "Promotion Entities"), and their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, suppliers, printers, distributors, participating advertising and promotional agencies, the independent judging organization and prize suppliers (and members of their immediate family (parent, child, spouse and sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and/or those living in the same of household, whether or not related, of each such employee) are not eligible.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: Entrants must have valid e-mail address and it is entrant's responsibility to update Sponsor of any change in e-mail address. All costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specifically included in prize description as being provided and all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner or his/her parent or legal guardian. No transfer, assignment or substitution of a prize permitted, except Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize for an item of equal or greater value in the event an advertised prize is unavailable. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor and judges, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Contest. Potential winner (and parent or legal guardian if winner is a minor) will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and where legally permissible a Publicity Release within 7 days following the date of first attempted notification. Failure to comply with this deadline may result in forfeiture of the prize and, at Sponsor's discretion and time permitting, a runner-up be notified. Return of prize notification as undeliverable, noncompliance with these Official Rules or failure of Sponsor to contact potential winner within a reasonable time period may result in disqualification and, at Sponsor's discretion and time permitting, selection of an alternate winner. Potential winner hereby further agrees that he/she will sign any documents necessary to transfer copyright of the entry to Sponsor within same time period. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Sponsor, S.C. Johnson and their respective agencies and designees to use winner's name and/or likeness, biographical material and/or entry (including an altered form of the entry) for advertising and promotional purposes in any and all media (including, but not limited to, a future issue of CosmoGirl), how or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, without additional compensation, or right of approval or permission, unless prohibited by law. By entering, entrant agrees to hold Promotion Entities and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, participating advertising and promotional agencies, independent judging organization and prize suppliers and all of their representative agents, successors, assigns, officers, directors, and employees (collectively, "Released Parties") harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto) or Released Parties' use of any of the rights granted herein.

MISCELLANEOUS: Released Parties are not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof or for other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the sweepstakes, the processing or judging of entries, the announcement of the prize or in any sweepstakes-related materials. If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. If terminated, Sponsor reserves the right, at its discretion, to select winner from eligible entries received as of the termination date using the judging procedure specified herein. Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or who is otherwise in violation of these Official Rules and void all associated entries. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in a Contest if it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, hacking, deception or other unfair playing practices or intending to abuse, threaten or harass other entrants and void all associated entries. Caution: Any attempt by a participant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies (including attorneys' fees) from any such participant to the fullest extent of the law.

DISPUTES/CHOICE OF LAW: Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or the prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by state or federal courts situated in New York, New York; (2) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, and in no event will entrant be entitled to obtain attorneys' fees or other legal costs; (3) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages, including without limitation lost profits, may be awarded (collectively, "Special Damages"); and (4) entrant hereby waives all rights to claim Special Damages and all rights to have such damages multiplied or increased. New York State law, without reference to New York's choice of law rules, governs the Contest and all aspects related thereto.
